Congrats to our 2023 Jim Barker Scholarship Recipients! On May 11, the Community Foundation Serving Western Virginia hosted its annual Scholarship Awards Dinner. Three recipients received a Jim Barker Scholarship, with $11,000 allocated to these young people to help with post-high school educational pursuits. They were: Tyler Turner, a rising senior art major at VCU; Lawrence Moore, a rising sophomore chemistry major at JMU; and Hunter Muddiman, a rising sophomore art & illustration for entertainment major at Savannah College of Art & Design. We are excited for these three exceptional Club alumni and their great futures. Thank you to all who have donated to the Jim Barker Scholarship Fund since its inception in 2020.
