The 2023 Delta Dental ParTEE and Pro-Am for Kids took place on May 24th and May 25th at Roanoke Country Club. More than 100 ParTEE attendees and 22 teams of golfers gathered to raise funds for the Clubs’ 2023 Summer Camp Experience. The 2-day event grossed more than $130,000 toward the investment in local youth through Boys & Girls Clubs of SWVA’s mission. More than $36,000 of that was raised at the ParTEE thanks to generous donors, including the $1,000 boost by Scott Cares. $2,930 went to the Jim Barker Scholarship Fund through silent auction support which will help to provide financial assistance for Club members’ post-high school educational pursuits. Donations from sponsors and in-kind partners helped to make these events possible. Through a partnership with The Hokie Way, Virginia Tech athletes visited with Club members and took them around the course to watch the tournament. One Club member kicked off the tournament with the first tee shot.
