  • We are a local nonprofit and proud member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America family. Since 1997, we have provided quality after-school and summer programming for youth in Southwest Virginia, without the barrier of cost. Everything we do is built around four outcomes: academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character and citizenship, and life and workforce readiness.

  • Our Clubs serve youth ages 5 to 18, starting in first grade. Each Club serves certain grade levels, so check your Club’s page to see who it serves. Membership is open to any young person in our service area, and no family is ever turned away for inability to pay.

    • Burlington Elementary School

  • Most of our Clubs are grant funded, so there is no weekly fee. At the 9th Street Club in Roanoke City, the cost is a $15 application fee and $15 per week. Summer camp is free at our grant-funded Clubs and $65 per week at 9th Street. We never turn a family away for inability to pay, so please apply regardless of your financial situation.

  • Clubs are open Monday through Friday for after-school programming during the school year. Summer camps run all day, Monday through Friday. Hours vary by site, so please contact the Unit Director at your location for specific times.

  • Download the application for your Club from our Enroll page, print it, and return the completed application to your Club’s Unit Director. The same application covers summer camp. After you apply, a member of our team will let you know your child’s status. If you have questions about a specific Club, reach out to that location’s Unit Director.

  • The safety of our members is our number one priority. Every staff and board member completes a criminal background check every year, as does any volunteer with direct contact with children. All staff and volunteers are mandated reporters, we complete a safety assessment every year, and families have access to a confidential 24-hour Child Safety Hotline at 866-607-SAFE (7233).
