Project Angel Tree!
You probably are not ready to start thinking about the upcoming holiday season, however, it is fast approaching! Here at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia, we are busy planning for the holidays with special all-day Club programming for the school break and fun holiday decorating ideas. While the magic of the season fills the Clubs we also realize the struggle that families go through to put packages under the tree. With great partners like you, we are able to minimize that stress for our families and bring joy and excitement to Club members with gifts through Project Angel Tree.
Again this year, we are reaching out to our corporate and individual partners to help us provide a small gift (limit $25) and a big smile to our Club members. Last year we were able to provide a gift to ALL Club members at ALL five locations – over 500 Club members! The smiles on their faces and the excitement during the party were truly magical. We could not have done this without the support of our caring friends and community partners.
Are you ready to make those smiles happen again this holiday season? We are asking for your support for the 2018 Project Angel Tree. Please let us know if you plan on participating and how many angels you are requesting. After receiving your commitment we will provide you with directions and the appropriate number of angels. We ask that all wrapped and labeled gifts be back to us before December 7, 2018.
